2011!

So here we are, year 2011!  It seems like yesterday that we were waiting for year 2000.  I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a New Year.  I’m working on many different projects at the moment and can’t wait to share it with everyone.  Lots of beautiful events coming up.  Again, I’m really sorry if you don’t see your wedding on the blog at the moment, I would love to share all the weddings that we shoot, but it would be impossible due to limited time.  But as promised, I will update more often this coming year.  This is an image that I shot last week of Grace and Vince, they will be getting married next month in Costa Rica!

So yet another year has gone by, well, almost.  It’s interesting that the older we get, time seems to fly so much faster, at least for me ;)  I want to thank all of our clients from the bottom of my heart, for giving my crew and I the great opportunity to document their once in a life time event.  I know I promised frequent updates on the blog, belive me, there is nothing more that I want then to accomplish that, but again, time does not permit as I wish.   Many new project are in the works.  I get excited every time I do a blog update because there is so much I want to share, and I will.

Working on new posts!

Fred & Manya’s Engagement Session.

When I first met with Fred and he told me that his a pilot, I knew exactly that this is what I wanted the photos to look like.  I hate flying, as everyone knows that by now, but I love being around airplanes.  It just amazes me how this things fly.  Also, there is some strange romance when you  are near airplanes and airports, I don’t know, it might just be me :)  I had the time of my life shooting this sessions.  I did get sick and I know Manya did to, but it was all worth it.  This was a  high security area, and since fred is a pilot and has worked at LAX,  that’s how we got it.  The experience has no words to explain, I will let the images to the talking.

Some of your best work yet, Jay! I love the 1920′s feel to these pictures. I literally felt as though I had traveled back in time while I was looking at them. When your already at the top of your game, it’s hard to outdo yourself, and you have done that with this session, my friend. Simply breathtaking!

Fame’s Photo Session.

I’m working on uploading some new wedding’s, but in the mean time I wanted to share a small set from todays photo shoot.  Hair by Seda and Makeup by Karoline from Fame’s Beauty Salon.  It’s always a pleasure working with this girls since they know exactly what to do.  Love the new location, which gave that old 40’s feel, wich you all know I love.    Enjoy this small set and keep an eye out for some of this images in new upcoming magazines.

Engagement Session’s

I’m working on putting up some new weddings, most likely this weekend. It has been an amazing season for us with some great weddings and they are a must to see.  In the mean time here are some engagement sessions that I did recently.  One thing about this sessions, it really helps me to get to know the couple before the wedding.  The comfort level is much higher after this shoots, which helps me to capture the true character and  emotions of my subjects.  I have lots of new events coming up, from fashion shoots to some amazing weddings, so stay tuned!  Enjoy.

In the Heat!

I had the pleasure of shooting some beautiful models today for Hrush’s Bikini line.  The weather was cooking,and we could not have picked a better day for this photo shoot.  The models were very fun to work with, starting with Jessica Varges (hair and makeup by Hrush) Ani Movsesian (hair and makeup by Hrush), Lucy Hart (hair by Hrush and makeup by Karol D.) and Hrush (hair by Seda and Makeup by Karolin).  A special thanks to Emeralsd Cove for allowing us to work in their beautiful setting, the place looked amazing.  Smoke effects provided by DJ sako. New Wedding’s Coming Up.

Fame’s Jungle Fashion Photo Shoot!

We have been planning this photo shoot for over a month now and today was the day.  Studying the weather a few days ago got us worried, knowing that it was going to rain.  After a few conversations with the crew, we decided that we are going to shoot, rain or shine.  So we did.  Cold, rain, winds, you name it, we got it.  The models were amazing. They did not care at all being out there with those clothes.  I was freezing  just looking at them.  After the long planning and preparations, we got it done.  Fame’s did an outstanding  job with the hair and makeup.  This time it was the whole crew at Fame’s.  I will have their names by tomorrow so I can credit them properly.  A special thanks to Fame’s for giving me the opportunity to work with amazing people.  We are already planning for the next photo shoot. You can checkout their website at www.famesbeauty.com  Enjoy and stay tuned for new weddings on the blog!  I Promise.  LOL

Updates!!!

I’m in the process of updating the blog and new stuff should be up by next week.  A special thanks to all the newlyweds for giving us the opportunity to be part of their amazing events.  New stuff coming soon.  I have been busy with pre-wedding shoots on weekdays and weddings on the weekends, which leaves me no time to work on the blog.  I have decided to dedicate one day of the week  (try) to work on it.  Thanks for the great comments and emails, the support is what gives me the fuel to do what I love to do.  Here is a sneak peek to what I have been up to, just one image now, but more coming.  Enjoy!
